How to Extract Google Form ID

Follow these simple steps to find and share your Google Form URL.

Step 1: Open Google Forms

  1. Go to Google Forms and log in with your Google account if you are not already logged in.

  2. Click on the form you want to extract the ID from. This will open the form in edit mode.

Step 2: Locate the URL

  1. Once your form is open, look at the URL in your browser’s address bar at the top of the screen. The URL will look something like this:

Step 3: Copy the URL

  1. Click on the URL in the address bar to highlight the entire link.

  2. Right-click the highlighted URL and select "Copy" from the context menu. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C (Windows) or Cmd + C (Mac) to copy the URL.

Step 4: Share the URL

  1. You can now paste the copied URL into DataDam so that the survey can be fetched. Use Ctrl + V (Windows) or Cmd + V (Mac) to paste.

  2. This URL contains the necessary Form ID and can be used directly to access the form.
